How many wipes for a pee diaper?

I came home from a bridal shower on Saturday to find a dirty (pee only) diaper next to the changer with no fewer than 4 used wipes on top of it - courtesy of DH. This seems really excessive to me but maybe I'm weird and DH is normal?

Yeah, this is me, too. Honestly I think if I told DH it was safe to squirt hand sanitizer on his bum, he would. Weird.

There are many times I don't use one at all for pee. If she doesn't seem wet, I don't use one. The diapers usually absorb a ton. Poopy diapers just depend.

I use on for pee, 2 for pee after an all night diaper, 4 for poopy

although dd had a blowout yesterday and dh stopped counting at 10
