Joe got me the upgrade to the embroidery/sewing combo and told me I could start pricing around and researching for the serger (you knew it had SOMETHING to do with that, didn't you?).
My dad got me a cleaning lady for 3 months which is awesome, but also makes me wonder hhow bad our house looks....

I'll bet your dad just knows you are busy with the little guy and everything else you're doing.
Yeah, I hope it's this and not the dog hair everywhere.

Ooh what did you get? I've been thinking about a different embroidery machine for a while now. Sounds fun!
I had a Brother PE750D:
and now I have the Innov-is 1250D which is basically the same machine, just also a sewing machine (and came with waaaaaaaaay more fun accessories- including the multi-positional hoop that embroiders areas up to 5"x12"!!!)

I didn't realize they had an embroidery only model. I might consider something like that because I like how my machine sews, but I need more embroidery space. I was looking at the Innovis.
I have a Husqvarna that does 4x4 and 4x6.5 (multi-positional hoop which I really don't like all that much but it serves its purpose) but sometimes that extra jump to a 5x7 would be soooo great!
Have you used it yet?

Ooooh yeah! I had the first machine for about 2 months and took all my embroidery classes with that one. I jist got this new machine last night (at my last embroidery class) and so I'm about to play around with the sewing part this afternoon!
