If the only thing you wanted from a certain store was a bedding set, would you register there or just buy that item yourself?

Also, do you think it'd look ok on a white crib? It's more of a country white/distressed look.

I would just buy it myself, unless someone specifically mentioned they wanted to buy the bedding for me. No use in opening a registry for only one thing IMO.

I'd buy it separately or maybe drop a hint to someone close to me (mom, shower host etc) so they could pass along that I wanted it.

We are buying our bedding for this reason.

i hate all the bedding ive seen so far but i found someonw who does custom baby bedding. you look at a bunch of swatches and pick what you like then they make it for you with the specific styles of bumper/crib skirt/diaper stack/blanket and a blanket. im also getting her to make curtians for us.

Are the colors more yellow or off white? If they are more yellow, I think it would look cute with a white crib. I would have to see it next to the crib before I made a final decision.
