Where would you register?

in Babies on the Brain

We have a Babies R Us, Target, Wal-Mart, and JC Penney that are 'Baby Registry' friendly.  We haven't figured out bedding (waiting to know sex at the end of the month), and I know that would settle whether to register at JCP or not, but out of Target and Wal-Mart, which would you choose?

Would you register at BRU AND Target/Wal-Mart?

    Do NOT register at Target.  They're hellish to deal with if you need to return/exchange anything.

    I would stick to two places.  I had an 'ok' expierience with BRU so I suggest there.  However, Target had better prices on some items.

    I like Target's baby stuff better but our family is full of Walmart goers so for convenience I'd probably register there.

    Yikes.  I never had an issue with them when we were registered there for our wedding.

    I've never had to return anything but I've also only heard horrible things about target's return policy.

    Target by me has way more baby stuff than Walmart.  As far as return issues, I have never heard of problems if it is something on your registry.

    We did BBB and Target. If we didn't have a BBB opening in a few weeks, I would have had the same choices as you. Personally, I hate all things Walmart, so I wouldn't have done them.

    I'd say JCP and Target, but try to keep most things at JCP since Target does have a horrible reputation about returns. Our registry is mostly BBB, then a few things at Target that BBB doesn't have.

    As far as BRU, I'm not a fan of their registry. Granted I have only shopped off of it a couple times, but as a guest shopping off of it I hated it, and wouldn't want my guests to have to deal with it. That's JMO though :-)

    Target's return policy is no worse than any other.  If the item is on your registry, they will take it back no questions asked. 

    I am registered at Target, BRU and amazon.com.

    I have never had a problem returning at Target. I would register there.

    I do not associate with Walmart.

    I loved Target & BRU.  I didn't really have any problems.  I had to outsmart them when it came to returning a few things, but it was no biggie.
