Items "purchased" off of registry, but not received.....

I had my big shower this past weekend and there were several items: pack n play, car seat, and positioner, that were marked as purchased, but I did not receive them. I had over 70 people at my shower and am not expecting to receive more than a few more gifts. Has anyone else been in the position where its marked off your registry but you didnt receive it?

Maybe they didnt arrive in time for the shower?? That happened to one of our guests, but they told us about it and plan to get it to us soon.

I looked at my registry and saw that a nursing pillow had been purchased but I never got one at my shower. I didn't really think too much else about it but then a few days later one of my friends who was working on the day of the shower came by; her and her SO gave me a gift which turned out to be the pillow. Maybe it's something like this.

I had several friends who couldn't make it to my shower but who've told me they have gifts for me. Also, someone might be holding onto some gifts to give you after you've delivered.

I just asked the same question. My shower was yesterday and 16 things were purchased that I did not get. One was the Medela pump which I'm bummed about. Not sure what's going on but I really don't expect any more gifts either other than maybe a couple.

Call the company (BRU?) and see if you can confirm it was purchased, and see if they can investigate when/how it was purchased. If it was purchased online the day before your shower, then you can assume it just didn't arrive in time and the person didn't order in time. Sometimes they can even find out who purchased it. That will give you some intel.

I was in the same boat as some of the other ladies. The items were purchased, but we received them days/weeks after the shower since they were unable to make it.
