My doctor told me to give it to DD but when I looked at the dosage it said ask a doctor. The doctor didn't say how much to give her though. Is it the .4 mL? TIA
My pediatrician said to base it on poundage. DS was 8lbs when he got circ'd so we gave him half a mL. It's half of the recommended dosage for 3 months.
Re: Dose for Infant Tylenol?
The usual dosage is 10mg/kg if an infant is hospitalized. However, most pedi's go with the generic 0.4mls at this point.
DD#2 just now weighs 7.5 lbs at 2.5 months (she's a preemie) and at her 2 month appointment they gave her 0.4mls.
