Virgin Maragaritas

Does anyone know if you can get a virgin margarita at On the Border? Or will they just look at me like I'm nuts?

    Why wouldn't you be able to?  I got lots of virgin drinks on our babymoon in mexico.  At first I thought people might give me the side eye but then I realized how obviously pregnant I am and didn't worry about it

    I don't know if you've had one or not, but IMO virgin margaritas don't taste very good.  I've got the virgin pina colada there and it was delish!

    they don't taste good, because they are just all sour mix. I heard though, that if you use ginger ale or sprite in place of the liquor, that it works really good.

    It is most likely they can do that; the only places that can't are those that use a pre-mix which already has the alcohol in it. Don't want to rain on your parade, but bear in mind that even though a virgin margarita is alcohol-free, it is most definitely not calorie-free. Not that I'm saying a pregnant lady should count calories, just that those mixes are so loaded with sugar that most of the calories in a margarita come from that, not the alcohol.

    They do.  I had a virgin strawberry margarita last night at a mexican restaraunt here and it was really good! DD drank most of it though.  When it came she said "Whoa baby!" and was right on it. Very funny.
