34 weeks

Just need to vent....34 2/7 weeks feel like my pelvis is going to split apart and now my finger tips on my right hand are numb it is soooo annoying! At appointment yesterday they were both head down, weights were 5 lbs adn 4lbs 12oz. They checked my cervix and it is still high, soft but closed! I feel like they are never coming out!!! Don't get me wrong I want them in there as long as possible....I just feel so close but so far away! Oh, and I'm still working... although I'm hoping all the walking at work will put me in labor at some point!!!! Not sure that I am ready for the craziness that will come with two newborns, but I am sure ready to meet them and more thant ready to somewhat reclaim my body!!! On the bright side I have a massage and pedicure scheduled tomorrow...mama needs some pampering!

    I vividly remember how awful you are feeling right now. You are doing SUCH a great job and going home with healthy babies is such an awesome feeling. It will be over before you know it. I can tell you the physical relief I felt when just one of my babes was out of me was unbelievable and I still had one on the inside! Enjoy your pampering. You deserve it!

    I hear ya and I'm right there with you.  I can't believe you are still working!!!  I take my hat off to you for being able to do so.  Just going from couch to the bathroom feels to me like I climbed a mountain. 

    The only thing that helps me is very short-term goals (like trying to make it to 34 weeks (I have 2 more days), then to 35 weeks, etc.) and taking it one day at time in the meantime. 

    The pampering you have to look forward to sounds awesome!

    it sounds like you're doing a fabulous job making those two people. keep up the good work momma, you'll meet those two passengers soon enough and enjoy your pampering tomorrow!

    I hear you! As others have said, one day at a time is my mantra too, although sometimes even that feels impossible. But we can do it!
