Stupid work vent

UGH!  My employer has a policy that you can not use your sick time if you have available vacation time.  You must use all of your vacation time before you can use any of your sick time.  Sick or not. 

So I get my check today and there's like thirty hours of sick time gone off of my available.  So I go to billing and ask what the heck the deal is.  Her answer is "You lost it.  If you don't use it you loose it."   I asked her how I'm supposed to use it if I have vacation time available and she said "You can't."

So basically...we get no sick time at all.
