The movie blows. For real, I have never seen anything more awkward than these two characters...even when they kiss in the second one, it's like...er..really?

The books are simple and keep your attention, much like Harry Potter in that they're a good distraction for your mind. Beyond that, though...nothing special.

After I saw who they had cast as Edward, I had no desire to see it at all. Edward is supposed to be hot, and I'm sorry, but Robert Pattinson isn't even remotely cute!

I got blackmailed into watching the first one. SUCH A BAD MOVIE!
I will not watch the next one or read the books.

just from the first movie I can tell you the entire idea is just this womans wet dream. bring back the old school vampires where sunlight turns them into screaming tiki torches, human blood is something they drink, and holly water hurts like a sonovabitch!
