when did your LO start sucking their thumb? My LO has started sucking her thumb in the last few days, but wondering if this is a phase since it started so late or if this is the real deal? Thanks!

DD started sucking her thumb when she was about 6 months old. She's definitely still a thumb sucker.

Really, he was sucking him thumb in my last 5 u/s (from about 27 weeks pregnant on! and then he found his thumb again at about 3 weeks old, and he has been sucking it ever since

Pretty sure Sarah was sucking her thumb in utero, too. She didn't for awhile, but around 6 months she started doing it again. She still does.

She was trying from birth, though she had to wait until she had control of her hands to do it regularly. Though I guess it isn't as much of a progammed habit as I thought, because she has been successful at switching which thumb she sucked when her usual thumb was injured.
