Have ANY of you started your period even if you are still BFing?

We are thinking of starting to try again for a 2nd baby this June. But with no period that could be kinda tricky!

I'm on the mini pill now and wondering if I even went off that if we could get pregnant! So many questions!

    No AF here.  I was planning on trying for a second baby when LO is a year old.  My friends that BF didn't get AF until a few months after they stopped BFing so something like 14 or 15 months pp.  I'm thinking this could potentially put a kink in our plans.

    I am one of the unlucky ones that got my period about two months after delivery with both of my sons.  I bled for 6 weeks after delivery and got about a 3-4 week break and then came my period.  I got pregnant when my first son was 5 months and miscarried at 8 weeks.  I breastfed for 14 months with my first one and plan on the same with this one.

    This is what I'm thinking too! How do you choose between continuing to BF or expand the family! Hmm....

    We started to supplement (due to low weight) and she refuses the bottle from me or my DH! She is SO use to BFing it's not going to be easy to get her to stop!

    I know.  When I first stated planning a family I did not considered this.  Actually, I didn't realize you don't always ovulate while BFing until I took a BFing class.  Once you start your LO on solids you may start ovulating again so who knows, may not be an issue.  I think you are most likely to not ovulate when you EBF.

    I exclusively BF and I got my first period 3 weeks ago when DS was a little over 3 months.

    I started 7 weeks post baby. I can't wait till we try for number 2 but I have to wait at least 2 years. Stupid Pree.

    No AF here though I thought I was in Dec cause of some cramps but nada!

    I jhave read that usually it returns a couple months after weaning from BFing but there are exceptoions... we plan on TTC again when our LO is 1.5 years old so we shall see!
