Boo! DH ruined surprise. Little long.

So, when I was pregnant with DS 1 1/2 yrs ago, my mom made a suggestion on a name that she really loved. "Wyatt." DH and I loved it, but we'd already set our hearts on Liam. Well, this time around, we are not finding out the sex, and I thought it would be a great idea to announce it after delivery by either saying the girl name (which DH gets to choose), or a boy name (which I get to choose). But, I thought it would even a nicer treat for my mom to be able to say "Wyatt Ayden *Last Name*, since I still love that name.

Here's the sucky part. We had dinner at my folks house last night and my brother and I were outside by the BBQ with my dad while DH was in the house with my mom. When I came inside he said "I told your mom the names we were thinking of". And she said "You still like Wyatt? Yay!" I was so burnt. Not that it's that big of a deal, but I knew my mom would have really appreciated the surprise. Oh, well. She has a bad memory... maybe she'll forget over the next 5 months. :)

    That sucks that he ruined the surprise, my DH is horrible at keeping secrets too, he blabs more than I do.

    Did your DH know it was a secret?  We run in to this all the time.  I won't be telling people something but DH tells everyone everything unless I specify it is a secret.
