Motivation

I am so tired of not being able to wear my clothes.....ugh I seriously need some motivation....I hate going to the gym alone and can't talk anyone into going with me....I don't do the wii fit just because I'm lazy......

Seriously wish I could go buy some motivation at Walmart or somewhere....lol

anyone have any suggestions? or want to be a work out buddy in the Limestone county area?

    I was so proud of myself - I went and worked out during lunch today!

    that is great...I planned to go yesterday as the start of the new month, well didn't make it cause had to drop my stuff off, however I am eating less and better so i guess that's a start......I just need to suck it up and do it....

    I was at the gym. Thats how I missed the drop off. I go to the wellness center on governors. They have daycare so I get to take a long hot shower. That is my reward for working out every day.......

    I'm in Limestone County! I can't do anything too strenuous right now but I do walk alot. I'm a member at Riviera, what gym do you go to?

    ((hugs)) i hear ya! shoot if i didn't have to teach my classes, i would go straight home and lay in bed. have you thought about taking group fitness classes? i don't have motivation or patience at all to work out alone (lifting weights, treadmill, eliptical, etc), but i LOVE taking group classes. on the days that i don't teach a class, i take an aqua class. but group classes definitely motivate me more. and the more you go, the more friends you make in your classes, and the more fun it becomes. but it definitely takes a lot of self pushing at first. eventually you will get into the routine. if i was out there by you, i would def be your workout buddy.

    I go to Sports Fit in Athens, because the riviera here doesn't have childcare, and I just can't see my self actually driving to Madison

    To throw in my $0.02 on Riviera in Madison it is ladies only and I pay $19/month. I'm not sure if the childcare is extra.

    Since I live in East Limestone I can do either Athens or Madison..I am actually closer to Madison but either way...wow that is a pretty good price on Riviera and I like that it is ladies only...so they for sure have childcare?

    Yes they do for certain have it. I just called and it is $10/month with unlimited use. Let me know if you are interested and I should be able to get you a free one week pass to test the gym out.

    I too like the convinence of Riviera in Madison, but the drive is AWFUL for me, I live in Downtown area of Athens......

    Sports fit is $47 a month, includes daycare, pool, tanning, aerobics, and gym....

    I do wish Riviera had a pool, I would definitely take advantage of that being pregnant.
