Stove knobs while I'm cooking, her new toy!

Seriously, what am I suppose to do? I can take them off during the day, which isn't a problem because she hasn't figured out you have to push then turn the knob, but she found that it's fun when mommy is cooking to turn the knob up really high, or low or off! I give her a no, then if she does it again warning, then follow thru with a 1 second time out! LOL that's all she'll sit for and I can't really expect much out of my 23 month old, but seriously, what am I suppose to do while I'm cooking?

I'm going to look into the stove guard. thus far it is the first thing I have ever roared at her for, so she has been good for awhile, but it's gotta wear off soon...

We have these knob covers. They work perfectly, don't require adhesive, and keep DD from starting any fires. HTH

This is exactly why we haven't bought a new stove yet! We can't find one with the knobs in the back, otherwise they are digital and expensive. Didn't know about the guard though!
