hands: stopped wearing my rings around 18 weeks. Got carpal tunnel real bad from the swelling around 25 weeks
feet: noticably around 32 weeks. Couldn't wear anything but flip flops at 34w. went on bedrest at 36w. By 37 weeks the swelling was much much better! (but it was July, so I wore flipflops only anyway)
Not until about 34 weeks. Even then it was just one foot and ankle that were swollen for a few days then went away. I didn't have any swelling in my hands until 37 weeks and just for a day or so. I was fine during the day after that time but I would take my rings off at night because my rings would get a little tighter at night. I had them on the day before I went into labor though and they were going on and off fine then.
Mine still fits fine. Some days my ankles swell depending on the shoes/boots I wear. I drink a lot of water and get up to walk around frequently (desk job) so my swelling has been very minimal.
At 30 weeks, I noticed my feet swelling but they would go down over night. By 34 weeks, they were constantly swollen but not 'bad.' Right now, no amount of 'propping them up' or 'reducing sodium' will bring them down. I am waiting for stretch marks and the swelling is moving in to my calves. My dr. says this is normal...::sigh::
The swelling started around 22 weeks on and off. It was full time in my hands around 30 week. Everything swelled and stayed that way the last 7-8 weeks.
I always take my wedding ring off each night so I noticed my swelling started getting bad around 28 weeks or so. I got a fakey ring to use until after Ry was born. My feet started swelling earlier than hands for some reason so I had to quit wearing heels. But none of that was any comparision to the swelling of my legs and feet after she was born due to the fluids etc! It was crazy!
I never got swollen, though I took off my rings every night (always have). Even now if I sleep in them they are snug in the morning.
The moment a child is born,
the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.
Just in the past few weeks and it still isn't bad at all. As of a week ago, I can't wear my ring anymore.
This is going to be very different for everyone. For me, I just tried my ring every morning. If it went on, I put it on. If it got stuck half-way on, I wouldn't wear it.

ETA: my hands are only slightly puffy.

Bummer.
Maybe I'll go buy a cheap ring at Kay or something in a bigger size.
I have serious issues with people thinking I am pregnant and not married...why I don't know.
ETA: I don't mean to imply all rings at Kay are cheap. I am talking about one of those 2mm silver bands or something that they sell for like $50.00.

They are less than $50!
We got my wedding band at Kay - its 3mm 10k white gold. It was $35.
