annoyed...

I am 20 weeks and have a cute little baby bump, nothing crazy. I only weighed 105 pounds before I got pregnant- all of the girls I work with keep looking at me like I am defective because I have a little bump and in scrubs (I'm a nurse) you really can't tell at all.  They think I should be bigger and I get these looks like I am depriving my child of nutrients or something.  I have gained 6 pounds so far and at my ultrasound he was measuring a week ahead!  It is so irritating I want to scream at them all! 

 

I'm sure towards the end everyone will be telling me how huge I am and I'll be sick of that too, but I am just tired and hormonal!  Thanks for listening.

    It sounds like one of those days. Just try and ignore them and if you must, tell them you are being monitored by your doctor and all is good. I hope your day gets better. By the way, at my 22 week appt, I had only gained 6 lbs and my doctor wasn't concerned at all.

    I think its annoying when the comments go either way. Lay off people! Everyone is different. Everyone is just looking at me like I eat too many cookies or something. It doesn't help that my coworkers keep their candy stash on my desk (to keep themselves from eating it). So everyone thinks I eat candy all day...I do sometimes LOL

    You couldn't really tell I was pregnant at 20 weeks either and I didn't start out at 105 pounds!  I had only gained about 4 pounds by 20 weeks and I eat like a pig.  Don't let the crazies get to you.

    I feel the same way! We found out LO is a girl yesterday and went a did all this shopping! Hwever, I was so annoyed  b/c I was wearing a snug fitting shirt and anytime we would tell people that I was pregnant they acted like they didn't believe me...
