I couldn't take the questions like:

"can I smoke weed while pregnant"

"is it ok to smoke once in a while while pregnant"

"is it safe to eat Oreos?"

"is it safe to eat cheddar cheese"

"I just found out I was pregnant, I'm 20 years old and I'm about to be homeless. Should I ge an abortion"

ugh I could go on and on...

Not to mention the constant WRONG answers being given to questions that clearly should be asked only to a doctor or nurse.

The app. was awful and I thought maybe it would get better but not really. Too bad they couldn't create an app that linked up to the current message boards on thebump.

Ok...I don't have an iPhone...but is the app for it different from the site? I have an Instinct HD so I have apps but they're usually the exact site.

I'm not sure, but I can tell you that the app is just basically one giant forum to "ask" questions about really anything. They have categories you can ask your question under, but really all that does is assign your question a specific little icon. All the questions still just get thrown into a giant forum and people can answer your questions. That's in the "411 section". You also can't search for questions or topics you just have to sit there and scroll through all the dumb questions just hoping to see one that is maybe interesting or worth reading. There is also an "ask thebump" section with generic questions and answers to common questions about pregnancy.

Unfortunately the app seems to have been sabotaged by teenage girls asking ridiculous questions and then swearing at everyone who tells them they are stupid. This is of course a broad generalization and there are a few questions that are worth reading, but the really bad and ridiculous questions ruin the whole app.

you're right it really has been entertaining, but I just got so mad today I deleted it. Maybe I'll re-install it later for entertainment purposes only It's just SO hard NOT to comment on some of these questions! Then of course a little teen attacks you by telling you to "f*** off" or "mine ur biznes" lol.

I agree I downloaded it and was excited about it, and then it ending up looked like the Yahoo Answers Pregnancy board... which is alright sometimes but its overflowing with teenagers like "If I had sex on this day can I be pregnant?" "Can I get pregnant the first time?" and just a bunch of annoying random things like that...which you could easily google and get the answer to! I'm glad the real boards on here aren't like that!
