membranes stripped ... OUUCH!
that has to be one of the worst things ive EVER experienced. and ive got a decently high pain tolderance. it started out as an "ouuuch!" then i was in tears and my poor boyfriend looked so lost, he wanted to make the dr stop and i did too but figured suffer once and its over. fwew! not fun. but the dr said ive finally dialated to 2 cm, after being stuck at 1 cm for 6 weeks...ugh! so there was no need for the cervical gel...thank god. after that internal and surprise membrane stripping i was done being messed with and ready to go home. the dr said to expect some spotting, which happened, and some mild menstral cramping, got that too. so now im just waiting for 7am to roll around so i can get the induction started and be on my way to finally meeting my little girl! im sure tomorrow will be a hell of a lot more pain than today was, but so worth it

I had my membranes stripped last thursday. I was 3 cm not sure hoe effaced but I didn't think it hurt really, just uncomfy. But I am still here so maybe she didn't do a good enough job of it.
Anyway good luck with your induction tomorrow. I hope you have a fast easy induction like I had with my ds.
