I want to SLAP SOMEONE

Some little teenage punk just broke the window to my car and stole my iPod. I live in an apartment complex and someone was coming out of their apartment and saw him do it. I guess he tried to chase him down but the kid took off. I don't think it has anything too incredibly personal on it, but all of my wedding pictures and a track with my baby's heartbeat are there, and that all really creeps me out. My sister also got robbed at school on Friday night.. bad luck for the girls in my family this week. Just put me in the worst mood.

    Ouch, that sucks! Stupid punk! Good thing you didn't see him...he'd probably have been much more frightened of the angry pregnant lady! At least that is all he took...and maybe it'll die on him, MWAHAHAH.

    Claim it on your homeowners/renter's insurance!! :/ (I work for a major insurance company in the claims dept) Just make sure it costs more than your deductible.

    I'm so sorry :/ That would RUIN my whole week!

    I'm sorry! That sucks :( I had my bag stolen out of my car at my part time job once (forgot to lock the doors). Nothing of value was in it, but it was the principle. I had my iPod in my glove compartment but they were too much in a hurry to just take my bag and run to even look there.

    I did have 3 punks steal my debit and social from my purse from the back room at that same job. They used all my money in my personal checking account by the time I realized it. Fun.

    But like a PP said, I think you can report a stolen iPod to apple, especially if you registered it.

    aw man that sucks! I hate when that kind of thing happens...um, I WORKED for that thing you just stole you a-hole!

    You've got wedding pics elsewhere too right so they're not totally lost I hope!

    There is nothing worse than something breaking into your car/house/etc. It just leaves you feeling a little paranoid and dirty. I had my car broken into not long ago and they took my makeup (?), a stuffed animal that was a present from my aunt, some cd's, and they tried taking my stereo but weren't too good because they just broke the plastic casing around it and stole the faceplate. Umm it just pisses us both off if we only have one half to the stereo buddy!

    I would be so upset that it had those pictures and your baby's heartbeat on it because you can't just buy new copies. I'm sorry, just remember karma always comes back around. Good news is, if there was someone that tried to chase him he probably won't come back near there for fear that the person will recognize him and call the cops or something.

    That reall and truly sucks!  I'm so sorry to hear that.  Hopefully karma will catch up to that punk!
