  throw a thing of baking soda in there while you dont use it.  that might absorb the smell.  it does in my fridge at least.

  Microwave a wet sponge and then wipe it out. The moisture from the sponge softens the burnt on food. Be careful not to burn yourself on the sponge though!

  An open bowl of vinegar will absorb the smokey smell. You can also microwave a cut lemon.

  I would do that.  Also, if you mix the vinegar with water and microwave it in a big bowl for like 5 minutes, the steam from the vinegar water will loosen everything up.  This works like a charm.
