WTF is up with all the bicyclists who don't think they have to follow the same rules as cars?
I don't know about all states, but in MN, the rules clearly state that people on bikes have to stop at stop signs and red lights and yield to pedestrians.
Last summer I was walking downtown after work and saw something horrible. The light was green for a car going south, and a bicyclist riding east (on the sidewalk) wasn't paying attention and rode her bike into the side of the moving car!!! If the person had been riding on the street and/or stopped at the red light like she should have, she wouldn't have had to go to the hospital (non life threatening injuries).
None of this we're out in the elements nonsense. So are people on motorcycles and in convertibles. You don't see THEM running red lights.
