I'm not asking this to be rude (and I realize that "not trying to be rude" is a way of saying "I'm going to to be rude, but...
)
If you are out of your first tri, why do you still post/ hang out on first tri?
I truly am just curious ..
(it makes me super jealous to see the 20+ week tickers!)
Re: If you are out of your first trimester..
I just moved to second tri. So, I stick around here too to keep up with the girls I connected with that are a few weeks behind me.
I also enjoyed reading (and participating in) the crazy drama that happens here.
I won't be out of my first tri until tomorrow. But I still lurk and on very rare occasions post on the GP board. I guess I feel like sometimes I still have something to add or I just want to see how the girls that I remember are doing.
Makes sense
I just lurk here and jump in if there's a question about something that could best be answered by someone who's gone through it - of course I'm no pregnancy expert, but in certain cases an extra few weeks is enough to see through some of the things that you experience in the 1st Tri (or certain things that you feel will never end).
Same reason why I would hop over to 3rd Tri and ask questions...
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless

To be honest, I lurk. I've been lurking all these boards for quite some time. So, if I see something I read that relates to me, I'll usually post. Could br 1st tri, 2nd tri or BOTB. There are some boards I refrain from posting on though.
ETA: I should also say it keeps me busy at work.

Partially this... lol. I get bored, especially when my board is slow. So I'll go to other boards. You can't tell me you don't go to them either... everybody lurks and posts. Just the nature of the bump I guess. I lurk on pretty much every single board.
As I understand it, each particular trimester board is for topics and subjects that relate to that trimester...not only for those individuals who are in that trimester currently. That's why I post on 1st and 2nd tri, baby names, showers, etc... If I find a topic interesting, I may choose to comment. Generally I just lurk and rarely do I actually post (as you can tell from my low post total)!
Somebody please tell me if I misunderstand the rules- am I really only supposed to post on 2nd tri because I'm in my 14th week? If so, I apologize....
I don't intend to sound snarky or anything, so if I did I apologize. I really do want to know if am not clear on the board rules.
Board, lurking. There's usually something good happening on 1st tri.
I did stay on 3rd tri until a few weeks ago. I got close to a lot of women and they all were about 2 months behind me in PG. So I had the longest 3rd tri ever - over 5 months.
Proud Mama to Mickey (12.03.09) and Nemo (06.06.13)
This.
The same reason I go to any of the other bump boards... I just feel like it.
I lurk on all 3 trimester boards and If there is something I can give info on such as m/s remedies etc. that I have experience in I try to help.
I hop boards
For the love of god and everything holy, please stop.
Lmao. No kidding.
Perhaps she'll also consider knocking off the xposting of crap and drama stirring.
Doubt it though somehow.
Cathy! SHE SAID SHE WAS SORRY! GOSH! *foot stomp*
Don't you know that you can magically erase regular, massive errors in judgement, gossiping, and heartless replies to people experiencing loss? And then you can just run to your due date board and complain about how everyone is so mean (aka not buying your BS) and get your hair stroked and butt kissed?
