I paid $200 for 3 of them. I am spreading them out throughout my pregnancy. I think they are usually $90-$100 a piece.

I went to a business called Ultrasona, which specializes in 3D/4D elective ultrasounds. It's about $100 for a basic package, but of course you can choose more to include in your package. They also run specials all the time, so when I went, I got a 45 minute session, with 5 print outs of the 3D/4D, 20+ pictures put on a CD, a DVD of the ultrasound and a teddy bear that has LO's recording of his heartbeat sewn inside for $125.00.

I got a 'monday special' and paid only 75.0o. It was only a 10 minute session, but I got my end result of gender determination and a CD of baby pics!

For reference... a place by me has a basic package for around $100.. which just includes a relatively short session and a certain number of prints. The packages go up from there to over $300 for the full works- including a dvd for the whole session and all the pics on cd.

i found a deal for $69. All i want is gender identification. My tech at my OBs office couldn't determine the sex since the baby's legs were closed the whole time. So i found the cheapest package i could and got an extra $20 off if go on a wednesday evenig.

My area sucks, huge military town with TONS of babies being born here and I can't believe the pricing, it's price gouging at it's finest. The industry standard for a basic package here is $165, and that's WITH a military discount. It includes all kinds of bells and whistles, and all I want is a basic gender determination. Oh well. You gals are lucky where it's cheap!!

WOW i feel really lucky. My dr has an US machine in her office and the last two US i got they just switched the wand and it changed to 4D. Didn't have to pay anything extra and they printed off about 10 photos and put them on a cd for me (I provided CD) for no extra $. They just bill to my insurance

Wow! That's so cool! I've never heard of a place doing a teddy bear with HB. Jealous!

DH got me a gift certificate for Christmas and they gave him one of the teddy bears to record the HB as well - this is what we get for $150. They do offer one for women before 21 weeks that is only $100 and have deals on Monday/Weds for $30 off as well. Plus its only $99 for each additional u/s if we want to go back for more:

20-minute 3D/4D ultrasound set to music; preserved on a DVD
All of your photos will be saved on a CD for you, along with 8 photos printed on 8x10 photo paper for you to take home
Comfortable theatre-style viewing (up to 50 guests) on our 100?+ projection picture (uh yeah, only need 2-3 people thanks though )
