Seriously? I have pink eye? - Vent

Hello everyone.  As you can see I am fairly new here.  I just needed to take a few minutes to gripe about I am the only one in my house with stupid pink eye!

I am due with my 3rd boy April 28th and I know pink eye is extremely common.  My kids have had it a few times before.  But, low and behold, I woke up yesterday with all sorts of goop in my eye.  Grrr. 

I went to the Minute Clinic near my house and the doctor at first told me to just use a warm compress on it until it goes away!  I thought, "Yikes, everyone in my house will get it for sure now".  Then the doc called the pharmacy and found the one bottle of drops that I can have.  My other option was ointment.  Who wants to put ointment on their eyes when nasty goop is coming out?!?!  Gross.

I just had to get that out of my system.  Thanks to anyone who read it :).

    Ugh, I feel for you.  I had it last summer and after the warm compresses (yeah, those just don't work) the doctor prescribed me the ointment.  I really wanted drops, but instead there I was trying to slather greasy ointment in my eyes three times a day, it was horrible.

    Good luck, I hope it clears up soon!
