What does a kick feel like?

because I SWEAR that DH and I felt one last night and it was really low in my Uterus. To me it felt like a big pop or a huge bursting bubble.

I know i know im only 15 weeks, call me crazy but IF DH felt it on the outside while we were just laying there I dont know how else to explain it!

So tell me what it felt like to you?

It literally feels like a kick. There's no mistaking it. I'd be very surprised if you or DH could feel anything on the outside that early. Most people don't even feel inside movements yet at 15 wks.

i got the flutters around 16 weeks and kicks at 20 weeks so if you are feeling them now great

but it is a distinct feeling cant be missed

I guess it kind of feels like that. I know once I felt a legit kick I didn't question it...there was no doubt as to what it was.

Have you felt flutters yet? I started feeling flutters at 14 weeks and felt a distinct kick from the outside at around 16 weeks. I still get excited every time I feel them!

I felt my first movement at 16 weeks so I don't think it is crazy to think that you felt something real but it literally feels like a kick now that I am 21 weeks. Early on, it felt like bubbles popping so it certianly could be the baby.

I felt them around the same time as you....around 15/16 weeks. It felt like a poke from the inside. There were a couple times around that time that I could feel him from the outside but my husband wasn't in the room to feel it. =( Now, I feel baby everyday and it is a lot stronger now. My husband finally felt a kick for the first time a few days ago.

It's such a cool feeling.

flutters are nice, and being 23weeks I can honostly tell you i've only felt 5-6 REAL solid kicks...everything else is just pressure/pokes.

Recently i've been feeling "rolls".... like someone flipped my stomach end over end, but kicks have been few and far between. the best ones i've felt so far have been on my wasteband wearing PJ's, I guess baby doens't like the pressure because he kicked me 4 times in the same spot! Best kick(s) so far, and that was 22 weeks.

I never really felt flutters. The girls first kicks were really light, so DH had a hard time feeling them on the outside---that was at 22 weeks too! I described it to him as feeling like when you feel your pulse (if you're feelign from the outside). For me, it was very distinctive. Last week the girls got some new strength and now they lift up my belly when they kick! DH is very impressed......... Big Smile
