I'm trying to plan where to register for my shower that's in a couple of months but I'm having a hard time deciding. Where did you guys go?? Any place that you wish that you had went to instead?
I just did BRU because we could register for almost everything with one registry. Our only option would have been Target or online stores but my family isn't very online savvy. We've decided anything we couldn't get at BRU we would go ahead and just get on our own.
Target and Walmart. Both have a lot of the same/similar stuff as BRU, but for way cheaper. Plus, there is typically a Target or Walmart near everyone, but not a BRU. HTH!
Never, but I'm one of those crazy moms who goes to great lengths to research the newest and greatest baby gear that is not usually sold at any of the normal registry stores. BRU/Target/Walmart/Baby Depot don't cut it for me - yeah, I really that crazy. I recommended a few people to Land of Nod, babyearth.com and giggle.com. But other than those places I bought everything else myself. We had a CD shower instead.
Some people are afraid of online shopping (or wait until the last minute) so there are only a handful of things on the amazon registry--a few bigger ticket items and some pieces to match our Dwell bedding.

BRU and Buy Buy Baby - but honestly if we had a BBB locally I would have only registered at BBB. BRU was a complete nightmare, but only extended family on my side and extended and immediate family on DH have BBB in their local areas. So I felt obligated to choose something that would be convinient for anyone in our local area as well.
Walmart and BRU. The majority and big stuff will be at Walmart since there isn't a BRU near most of my family (who will be buying the majority of the gifts).
As much as I would love to register at Target I don't want to deal with their return policy if I need to return anything.

I'm the same way... so I used myregistry.com and synced Target, Land of Nod & Amazon registries plus added from any site (including babyearth) to it... you can add from any store online with it! easier to pick and choose!

Target and BRU. Target because they're just about everywhere, and probably cheaper. And BRU because they have a bigger selection
