Re: **Trying For A Sibling Check-in**
My vents:
TTC - When you pay attention, cycles seem like they take FOREVER. I felt like AF lasted a million years, now I'm taking a temping break until I start O tests around CD16ish...so it's moving at a snail pace! BOO! I am also really discouraged that my ideal "timing" is now officially SHOT! We had planning on being KU already, and due sometime between Aug - Nov. Sigh!
NGPR - I'm getting so old that I can't drink like I used to or stay out late...if I do I'm recovering for like 2 or 3 days afterwards. I went to a bachelorette party this weekend I feel like a lump of poop today! arg
My DS is going to be 3 this year, in June, and he's at just the best age. He's still mommy's little baby, but he's so talkative, interactive and ALMOST potty-trained (finally!).
I just got AF after a 53 day cycle. YAY! I got like 30 seconds of spotting yesterday and thought she was here but then nothing, but this morning, full force. Thank goodness!
I don't have much to vent about. It is cycle 2 for us and I am trying really hard to be chill about it all.
My LO is going to be 17 months old in a week. WOW time moves too fast!
Congrats Marie&david!
First I want to thank you Monica for the nice thoughts!
I really don't want to vent on here for many reasons. But if anyone is interested I started venting in my blog instead!
Edit: My LO is not so little he turns 10 in a couple of months!
Hi Ladies.
Mrs.Monica--I am so the same way with drinking. I used to be a partier and just can't hang anymore. Oh well, I had a good 10+ years of enjoying adult bevvies.
TTC vent: same old, same old. I'm sad its taking this long. I really, really wanted our kids no more than 3 years apart. I was cocky and didn't think it would take us long and couldn't start earlier due to changing jobs twice since DS was 15 months.
NGPR: I have a head cold. I worked on a power point presentation for work today. I also grocery shopped, make homemade granola bars, corn muffins, turkey chili, rice krispie treats and hot chocolate (mine was spiked with rum).
I failed to go to church and exercise.
The end.
My DS will be 3 in May.
Also, just asking for a favor--this is my first month charting. If anyone is willing to take a look and just tell me if they notice anything or if it looks in the vein of normal, I'd apprecaite it. Thanks.
TTC Vent: Not really a vent, but AF came yesterday. So no more 2WW for me. On to Cycle 3.
NGPR Vent: DH has been soooooo pissy all day. I don't know what his problem is. He got to sleep all night, went to a train show today, and as far as I know I didn't do anything awful to him. It's driving me nuts!
DS is 13 months old. My heart just skipped a beat typing that
Congrats on the new BFP!
ttc vent - i found out this week that i have to have 25% of my cervix removed due to cells that have grown and spread. not only does that stink, but i have to wait 3-4 months after my surgery (in march or april) to start ttc again.... boo
non ttc vent - i can't stand when my "friends" complain about how they have no money to do this or that (usually things i am doing...like remodeling the bathroom, working part-time, etc.) yet they make big purchases and spend large amounts of money on random things ($200 shoes). i get the "must be nice.... wish i only had to work til noon" comments and it's annoying.
and ds just turned 2 on 2/1!
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~

My IF blog
My vents...
1.) Another week and more preg announcements from friends.. so frustrating!! When is it going to be my turn??? It looks good this month but I dont want to get my hopes up just to be let down.. I did O this month so that is a good thing!
2.) NGPR- My ds is not talking yet( he talks but it does not make sense) and I am really starting to get worried.. he will be 2 1/2 on the 8th of March... we have an appt on tues so he can get referred to a speech therapist.. I just want to find out what is going on! Anyone else having the same issue??? Its so hard to see other friends/family members kids talking and ds is not.
ok vents over.. have a great week everyone and GL!!!
TTC vent - nothing to say other than it feels like this cycle is taking forever. I'm waiting to O and I just wish I was in the 2ww at this point! (never thought I'd say that)
NTTC - we just moved to a new town and I don't know anyone. I'm trying so hard to get out with DD and do things but this town is so small...I feel so down some days. We joined a playgroup but I'm finding it really hard to meet other people and I feel kind of sad and lonely.
My daughter, Clara, is about 2.5
TTC vent - i hate when dh has to leave on a business trip around the time i'm going to O! he's leaving on the 11th to go to Cali for 5 days, and i'm only going to be CD 14 at that time. yes, i have O'd as early as CD 11 but i've also O'd as late as CD 18, so this cycle is really going to be a miss for us if i don't O early.
NTGP vent - i told ds1 (16yo) that he needs to find a part-time job. it has nothing to do with his necessities like clothes, shoes or even his cell phone bill, but it has to do with his "going out" money. i mean i don't mind throwing him 20 bucks here or there, but $25 for each friday and sat night to go to a teen club is ridiculous! so i told him i'll only pay for one club a weekend and that's it. and i think that's fair.
Good evening ladies! I hope everyone had a great weekend!
TTC Vent: I was just showing dh the big dump my temp made this morning and I have no idea what I'm talking about, but am sure it is bad. I showed him Fridays temp and how I stuck in the wrong part of my mouth, but had to use it because it was the first temp. Then I said, aren't you glad we started in October instead of January? We are going onto month 6. Until this morning, I compared all of my phantom symtoms with previous cycles and I thought this one looked good because I've had cramps pretty much since ovulation pain. Today I got lightheaded, which isn't the norm, but whatevs. AF just get here.
NGPR Vent: Thursday, after hours, I got 6 different emails of 7 ppt presentations that are all due this week and first part of next week. 3 were short and sweet and I pretty much got them done Friday, but 5 are 27+ pages, and I have to format, build tables, check math and make 'em pretty AND print them in color and bind them so that they look perfect for the clients. This is my favorite part of my job, but not when I am slammed like this.
DD just turned 16 months on the 20th. I taught her "shhhh" this morning. And it's more like "thhhh". hee hee.
My nephew on my side and nephew on dh's side had this same issue. Both had ear problems that were diagnosed late because they never had symptoms. Dh side nephew started talking clearly right away, although he is deaf in one ear and forgive me for not knowing, but something in his ear did not form correctly. Nephew on my side, is still seeing a therapist, he's been seeing her since the summer he just turned 3 in November. He understands, is super smart, but I don't know if his being 6 weeks premature has anything to do with his speech delays, but he still doesn't talk much. I think seeing a therapist is a great idea. I hope you get anwers soon! Big hugs!
TTC related - I also feel like cycles take a really long time when you're paying attention. On that note, I really need to stop stalking my chart, it's making me a little crazy.
Other - I am so over the snow. I can't wait for spring!
My DD just turned one on Friday.
my angel babies: 6/10 (chem. pg), 9/10 @ 10 weeks
OK, let's see... my NGPR vent is about myself. Why can't I get off my bum and exercise? Seriously, ladies--I can't even do 30 mins 3x/week. I am a SLUG! Grrrr.....
My TTC vent is about getting up to take my temperature. DD usually wakes up at 7am, but sometimes earlier. In order to make sure I get a good temp, I have to get up at 5:30. Booooo!
I'm on cycle #5 of TTC #2, and my daughter is almost 11 months old. Sniff. Gonna be a whole year old soon!
I wanted to join in! We are TTC #2, Cycle #3. I am 5 dpo today-- 2 ww for me! DD is 19 months old today!
TTC vent- This sounds horrible, and is flamable, I am sure. But I got pg with DD on cycle 2, so now that I am past that, I feel a little frustrated. I have to say having a toddler has put a little cramp in our sexy time though! A couple days this cycle when I though we should have sex, I was just too tired from chasing DD.
NGPR- I really have nothing specific to vent about. Things are honestly really great right now. I had a crazy busy month, and now things have calmed down and I am sooooo happy for that. K, that's my vent!
I have the same NGPR vent! My son is 17 1/2 months old and doesn't say much and what he does is only understood by DH and I! He was born 3 months early and sometimes it is hard not to blame myself for his delays (he gets PT services as well). Other than that he is amazing. I have to take a couple of deep breathes and remind myself that he won't go to kindergarten not speaking! He will be evaluated this week for speech and hopefully begin services soon!
TTC vent: Nothing out of the ordinary. AF just left so I am looking forward to some lovin'! Keeping my fingers crossed for lucky cycle #6!
Congrats to all of the BFPs!

Weishaars' World
TTC Vent: My vent is probably very common and shared by other ladies that are trying to get pregnant.... though an immense amount of joy is felt for my IRL friends that get pregnant unexpectedly, there is also some heartache felt for myself not being pregnant yet. It hurts even worse when these friends don't "seem" as excited as I know I will be when I get pregnant. And hearing them talk about their pregnancy complaints... well, sometimes it just brings tears to my eyes. (whew! now that that's off my chest...)
NTTGPR Vent: My sweet DH had to travel out of town tonight for a meeting. BOO! I know that he will be back tomorrow night and it's a short trip, but it is always so hard to fall asleep without him next to me. Now, I have to distract myself until I pass out.
Heidi just turned 18 months old on Feb. 18th. She is the light of our lives!
Cycle #5, CD18. I think I O'ed yesterday or today, so I think I'm starting my 2WW soon! GL to all you ladies testing soon! BFP wishes for you gals!

TTC vent: My husband and I are both too tired to have sex and so my try to have sex every other day is turning into every three or so days.
NTTC: We are redoing our bedroom and we started clearing all the old stuff out today and it's a mess. I hate messes. It makes me stressed.
Little one is almost 9 months.
Yep, you're right I POAS'd today at 11dpo but BFN. I have absolutely no symptoms so I'm starting to plan for next cycle.
My DD is 3 in March. I guess my TTC vent is that I wanted my kids about 3yrs apart & I'm way past that now. But that's it. Stupid vent.

I don't have any direct experience with speech problems but friend of mine was concerned over the same issues with her 2.5 year old. Her doc recommended getting a hearing test to see if that could be part of the problem. I hadn't thought about that part of it before...
Unexplained secondary infertility...bleh. Gave it a few more tries and BFP on 3/31

My BFP Chart
TTC vent: I made a rookie mistake and tested this morning on a FRER test...bfn....AF isn't due until tomorrow. Why did I waste that $10??? I should have waited to see if AF was late FIRST.
NPGR vent: Nothing really....um....just watched the Olympic closing ceremonies...they were kind of lame and now I hope the whole world doesn't think of us (in Vancouver) as weirdo's!
My DD is 18 months old.
NGPR vent - I got hit with an awful cold this weekend, and DH just isn't good at taking care of me when I'm sick. I'm not high maintenance, but it would just be nice if he would ask me if I needed anything or showed some concern. I haven't felt this bad in a while, and even though it's just a bad cold, I'm exhaused from the week and can't take anything since there is a small chance I could be KU. He was asking me to help him with projects all day and I just wanted to crawl into bed. Okay, that's enough.
Other - congrats to all the BFPS! Whoohoo! I'm in the 2WW, overanalyzing as usual.
Unexplained secondary infertility...bleh. Gave it a few more tries and BFP on 3/31

My BFP Chart
Nothing to vent here.
DD is 20 months old! I can't believe she'll be two in 4 short months. It feels like we just had her 1st birthday!
ds just got qualified for speech therapy after they did the eval. last week. i also have to bring him to get a hearing test done. the speech therapist said he has asymetry in his face/mouth as well which could add to the reason he is still drooling, food falls out of his mouth and we can't understand a word he is saying. i hope that we will be able to communicate soon! good luck with your ds...and know you arent the only one!
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~

My IF blog
TTC vent: I'm just so frustrated that it has been 14+ cycles and nothing has happened. I have stopped charting and OPKs because I can't take the disappointment when AF appears each cycle. I'm grateful and blessed that I have my beautiful daughter but I want to add to my family. It also seems like everyone around me is pregnant.
My LO turned 4 in December.
I'm don't think I really have any TTC vents. I am so happy that we are moving forward in our TTC journey and will be doing IUI this cycle. This is a huge step for DH so I am glad it is actually happening.
NGPR: I woke up to snow again this morning. Ugh! I am so ready for Spring!
DD, Ryla is a little over 3.5 years old.
You have quite a few open circles. Is it because you are getting up with your LO? Also, if you can show your BD line on your chart it will help us to offer more input with timing.
My vents:
1. AF showed this weekend so onto cycle #6. I just don't get why it's taking this long with perfect timing each cylce.
2. My husband has to be in Atlantic City all next week so I will be playing the single parent role. I hate when he's not around and its just me trying to do everything.
DD is 16 months
