The Secret Book/Movie

Has anyone ever read the book "The Secret" or watched the movie? The one on law of attraction. It was on Oprah a few years ago. Does anyone apply it? I've been practicing it for a few years and I finally convinced my husband to read the book, and he is loving it.

    I have the movie and watched it a few times a while back.  I also have the book but never read it.

    I think it's a great dose of positivity for someone who first sees the movie.

    Oh yeah...I did a few inspiration boards a few years ago and everything came true :)

     I believe in the power of positive thinking!

    I just pulled my book out after having a positive fFn test at 24 weeks.  I was freaking out and really focused on being healthy and keeping the babies cooking.  I made it past the two weeks and was restested- it came back negative!!! That's virtually unheard of.  Now I'm using it and meditation to keep my cervix strong while on bedrest!

    Every little bit helps!

    Wow! I love hearing that. I had 3 miscarriages and finally whipped out the book again, and now I'm now having a successful pregnancy.(I believe it has helped. Even if it isn't the book, positive thinking and gratitude has never hurt anyone.) DH started reading it back in the summer and he really was not enjoying his job, he ended up getting laid off, and within a few weeks he was offered a better job, in a new city,more pay and it is closer to family.

    Michael Beckwith(he's one of the authors and he's in the movie) and his wife came to town, and we went to his seminar. It was amazing! Now we have tickets to Bob Proctor in April.

    I do too. It's hard to talk about it with people who have no idea what you are talking about. It's refreshing to know there are other on here who believe it.

    I LOVE The Secret.. I firmly believe in the power of positive thinking. When I first read the book 3 years ago I made a vision board that had things about weddings, marriage, family, love, california and a dog. Here I am 3 years later which every single thing I wanted, and it all started happening less than a year after I made the board. I also made one when I found out I was preg with babies, healthy pregnancy, and mom things all over it. :)

    That's is so awesome. I'm going to go make a mom/baby board with all those things.  There are books  for LO's on positive thinking ,law of attraction, and they are cartoon/learning books.So they learn at an early age the power of positive thinking. Eckhart Tolle is one author.

    I'll have to look into them! My friends and I all love the Secret, they'll be so happy I'm teaching their little nephew young.

    If you like the Secret, you'll probably like Abraham Hicks and "Ask and It is Given". It predates the Secret and the exercises in it are very good.
