take that, tri-boards!! lol..
i had a greek salad a few weeks ago and ever since then i've been going nuts looking for new things to put goat cheese on (slightly milder than feta if you haven't had it but still oh so yummy). i want it on every salad and made my first omelet a week or so ago just to put some on it.
today i just dumped some on my fried egg. ![]()
random question for anyone that might know - does goat's milk taste tangy like goat cheese or is there an additive/something in the cheesing process that gives the tang? just curious. :-)
Re: i've become a soft cheese whore (!)
Welcome to the soft cheese whores' club! Glad to have you! lol
Goat's milk isn't tangy like goat cheese at all. It basically just tastes like milk. It's good stuff!
My breakfast on the cruise: two soft-boiled eggs, chopped up, mixed with goat cheese and sprinkled with s&p. Still warm, the cheese melts into the eggs. Served with grilled veggies and freshly-squeezed OJ.
