If you have a front loader, do small items like baby socks ever get stuck in the rubber piece up front?
My big brain suddenly realized I could use my mesh lingerie laundry bag for such items. Genius, I tell you. No more soaking wet gunky socks!
Just a tip!
Re: front-loader washing machine
See, you're smarter than I am because you already thought of that.
How do you clean out that deep crack/groove? It gets icky in there.
If I'm running towels or something like that, I'll use a towel to wipe it down before washing. Otherwise, I don't really worry about it too much. When I was losing hair like crazy the thing was filled with my hair all the time. Ew.
I keep cleaning rags in the laundry room and wipe the door and groove down after each load.
This. I keep one attached to the changing table and dirty socks go straight in.
I also wipe the seal out occasionally with a cloth.
Great idea! We also use washer cleaner about once a month and leave the door cracked when we are not using it.
