in regard to ihh baby - he is a cutie. but his pic was the common denominator between her blog and her ae m22 or whatever.
i think thats why people were talking about big ears.
I don't think they were necessarily making of the baby's ears. I think they were just saying that they recognized the baby because of the ears. In fact, I think I remember someone in that post specifically said that they thought the baby was really cute.
FWIW, i think IHH/Mrs. N22 whatever has an adorable baby

Ok that is just f*cked up. No matter what people think of someone on here, that is no reason to make fun of a poor defenseless baby.
ETA: The implication of Curious George is what is f*cked up, not that he was recognized by a physical trait.

They just said the ears resembled another bumpies baby. DD has massive cheeks. That is kind of what she is known for around the family. I wouldn't be offended if someone recognized my baby by her cheeks.

I don't think it was making fun of him either...E has some big ears too, and I wouldn't flinch if someone was describing him and said that.
Now, if they said he had big ears & was ugly, then I'd take them down. Simple as that.

Ah, ok. Still, I think there is sort of an implied "making fun of" if you "recognize a baby due to the ears." Maybe I'm just sensitive because the Bumpie in question tends to be kind of a blitch so I am assuming ulterior motives there.

depending on your political leanings, i guess. some bumpies on here would take it as a compliment.
When I read it in combination with people saying they were making fun of the baby I figured by capitalizing George she was making a veiled reference to Curious George the monkey.

Emphasis was on GEORGE, which is the despicable part. Considering the source of the comment....not too surprising. Nothing is sacred to that bumpie. Not even a child.
That's why I didn't get it. But she emphasized GEORGE. Like Curious George... kinda seems like she was saying the kid looks like a monkey cuz of his ears.
Overall, I don't think the post was mean. But if that's the way heyyred meant for the "GEORGE" comment to mean, that was a little uncalled for.

Are you for real with this? "By George" is a common saying, it has nothing to do with Curious George, or Boy George, or George W Bush for that matter.

She'll deny that it had any link to Curious George, but she intentionally makes it very subtle. Leaves her just enough wiggle room where she becomes her usual verbose self and starts twisting words. By the time you leave the conversation....who knows what is up or down any longer. It's her gift.
