Need some new munchies ideas

I'm trying to eat little bits all day to help with my all day morning sickness.  I'm getting tired of my norms: saltine crackers (make me want to puke just thinking about them), kashi cheese crackers, pear fruit cups and oatmeal cranberry bars that I make at home.  I need some ideas for easy on the stomach bland but good snacks for work to help me get through the day.  On the plus side, I have been able to drink some more liquids lately.  Not a ton, but much more than I was 2 weeks ago. Smile

  • I found that pretzels and string cheese helped me a lot.

  • Teddy grahams, in the honey flavor, were very helpful.

  • I lived off Trail Mix during my first tri. Target sells big tubs of different kinds. I would buy a few different kinds and then put them into little baggies. I always had at least on baggie in my purse.

Any of the 100 calorie snack packs.

    String cheese.

  • I pretty much followed the B.R.A.T. diet...since I felt like I had the stomach flu with all the morning sickness.

    Bananas

    Rice

    Apple Juice

    Toast

  • When I was in the 1st tri I would make a pot of buttered rice and then just eat small portions of that all day :)

This.  I know it's not the best, but the little fun packs of Froot Loops, Corn Pops, etc. are making me not feel pukey right now.

Oh, and mixed nuts.  The protein is doing me a world of good.

  • HEB makes these breakfast type breads that are pre-sliced, like banana nut bread, a vanilla rum type bread, poppyseed bread, etc and those really helped me.  Crackers were too dry and the moist carbs helped a ton and stayed with me longer.  Also plain baked potatoes with a little butter and bananas are all I lived on practically!
  • I ate Annie's Cheddar Bunny crackers all day long in first tri. I also loved mac & cheese (not necessarily an easy snack, but I thought I'd mention it!), string cheese, and graham crackers.
  • I survived on peanut butter bread and fruit.

  • Ditto trail mix. I also did granola bars and mac & cheese, neither of which I can eat now :(

Citrus did well for me- the smell helped a lot with the nausea.

    Peanut butter on crackers

Lifesavers mints and lemon candy (not really food, but helped me a ton)

    Rice cakes

  • Applesauce?  I've also been eyeing those Quaker blueberry or cranberry rice cakes.
  • What about Kim's Magic Pop? They are these really tasty light wafers.  You can put something on them or just nibble on them plain. You can get them at HEB and Central Market.
  • I lived on grapes!  It sounds so silly, but that's pretty much the only thing that sounded halfway edible and didn't make my stomach turn.  I think it also helped a little in the hydration department.

I also ate scrambled eggs and trail mix.  I could handle other stuff once in a while, but those three items pretty much kept me going during that time.

  • Goldfish and jolly ranchers.  God love my students, they didn't give me any crap about my constant jolly rancher consumption.

  • Smoothies!  Although I had morning sickness in the summer....
