Although my DD is barely eating solids, we are offering them twice a day (sometimes). She can barely finish a stage 1 sized jar (2.5oz? I make most of her food, so I am not sure of the amount). In any case, during the week I never get to feed her. I nurse her in the morning before work, so she isn't hungry yet for solids. If we are giving her solids for breakfast that day, they are offered an hour later by either DC or my mother (whomever she is with that day). Again, if she is getting a solid lunch that day, the cycle continues (except with a bottle since I am at work). We haven't even attempted dinner yet. If you are working, are you even able to offer a solid breakfast to your baby? It seems so weird to me that I barely seem to feed her (other than BFing when home). I tried to give her breakfast in the mornings, but it was rushed and she just wasn't hungry.

Re: Child in daycare? How often do *you* feed solids?
The days that DD is at daycare (M-Thurs) I do not feed any solids for breakfast. I offer her a bottle in the am before we leave. She usually goes back to sleep at daycare for a while in the am and then when she wakes up, she gets solids...also she gets solids for lunch...and offered bottles during the day.
We also feed her solids for dinner and then a bottle before bed.
Dillon has breakfast, lunch, and a snack at daycare.
*We* feed him dinner at night.
I feed her at night when we get home. On the weekends though I feed her twice sometimes 3 times a day for solids.
At daycare they feed her solids once, usually mid-morning after her nap.
Growing Up Olson
This is what we do as well. I nurse him before we leave the house...nurse him after dinner, before bed. He gets a bottle with his meals at daycare.
