Sam has started smiling. First real smile last week, and he's been practicing like crazy this week. When I look at him and he locks eyes and smiles - I cry. Not sobbing, but tears. Every. Time.
It's so amazing, so incredible, and so freaking cute that I can't help it.
All I can say is I hope, for his sake, I keep crying. His smile is worth everything.
Today I caught a couple of good ones - I know it's early for baby pics this week, but here are a few gems:

Thanks for letting me AW ![]()

I know all about those tears...I cry all the time too when Jake's being sweet or funny or well, just about any time! I was just crying at how cute he was being while I was changing his diaper. I think it's all about how amazingly lucky we finally feel to have our dream come true babies!
Keep those tears coming!
so beautiful! You might want to stock up in Kleenex, it just keeps getting better and better ;-)

hah - no offense at all! His nose looks like the donor's - quite a bit actually. But it's a lot like my nose as a baby too - my mom, in fact, gets told frequently that he has "her" nose
