I got some alcohol free vanilla extract to put in DDs milk since she wasn't drinking it. She seems to like it and is now drinking all her milk but I was wondering if vanilla extract was ok to give her.
My grandmother used to do this for us all the time when we were at her house. No idea if it is bad but all 9 of her grandkids seem to be thriving adults. Have you tried google to see if there is any info out there?
You might consider vanilla syrup instead - like the stuff they use at cafes to make vanilla lattes. I get it at Cost Plus World Market, but you can also get it on amazon you don't have Cost Plus near you.

it's fine. the only thing i'd worry about with vanilla extract is the alcohol, so it sounds like you're perfectly ok.
(and really, with the drop or so i'd add of extract, i wouldn't even worry about the alcohol)
i wouldn't use vanilla syrup, that's got loads of sugar in it (but it sure is delicious!)
Of course!
that sounds good, actually!
