What's wrong with sweatpants?

I wear yoga pants out but I am worried about looking frumpier than my nursing bra already makes me so I try to make sure I look "sporty cute" at the very least.

If you're wearing a cute pair with a zip up hoodie that's all matchie matchie, then I guess it's OK Wink

However, sweat pants paired with your usual winter jacket or whatev just looks like you couldn't spend 60 secs to throw on something decent. Just MO.

I wear them too, but I prefer the kind with no elastic on the bottom, I think b/c they remind me of little kid pants. I especially wear them when I'm out in the snow.

I hate when people wear sweatpants in public. I rock them in the comfort of my own home (daily) but never out to a store or anything.

I will be wearing 'yoga' pants out today b/c on our way in from Sesame Street Live last night I dropped Layla's?cold hot?chocolate all over my last pair of?clean jeans. LOL. ?And our dryer is superdumb and you have to dry at least twice.. so I wasn't staying up to wash them and run the dryer twice.?

I don't know about wearing out the old-school sweatpants, but the yoga pants don't bother me at all.??

My first UO is truly U. Yes!!!!

I just don't like the way sweatpants look. I also feel unproductive and lazy when I wear them.

I wouldnt say im a snob.. but I have the "ski" ones.. I use "" because I cant really ski in MN BUT I like those with my uggs and a northface.. thats my outside runnig to target attire

I'll wear sweatpants to the store or my mom's house. I'd probably prefer a pair of jeans but I only have two pair and one has a giant hole in the butt that I'm too lazy to patch, and the other is still to small to fit over my fat thighs.

I love my yoga pants. When I run out to the store or somewhere I try to look sporty cute not too sloppy. If I have an appointment I try to wear jeans instead but I figure I'd rather be comfortable playing with the girls all day long in yoga pants.

So I see nothing wrong with sweats!

They are the staple of my wardrobe. Sometimes if I am feeling really fancy I'll throw on a pair of nice sweats before I leave the house, haha.

yoga pants to drop of something, or hit the grocery store or target = okay in my book.

yoga pants to any social event = not okay in my book.

honest-to-god sweatpants = not okay ever in my book.

that's just my take on things.

I think it depends on the pants, where you're going and the time of day. I don't have a problem throwing yoga pants on when it's Sunday morning and I'm running out to get bagels or something. Otherwise I don't do it. But I also grocery shop in heels so I may be odd...

As long as they aren't super skin tight or falling off baggy then I don't have a problem with it. Sweatpants and yoga pants or any other type of athletic pants are great and a Mom essential - as long as they fit and are semi clean if you are going out in public.
