I only have great experiences with cervadil. Starting with cervadil will give your ut the best chances to efface and dialate before starting pitocin. Best of luck!
I had Cervidil with DD. It wasn't bad at all. The Dr put it in and it quickly kicked me into labor. Apparently I was already having contractions 5-7 minutes apart when they put it in, but once it was in I actually started feeling them.
I had to lay down for a couple of hours after it was in, but it wasn't a big deal.

I had a great experience with it. They put it in, I layed there for about a half hour then they sent me walking. Apparently like pp I too was already having some contractions. I walked around for about 4 hours. I was induced but ended up never needing the pitocin. Good luck!
"Dear Lord, I would have loved to have held my babies on my lap and tell them about you, but since I didn't get the chance, would you please hold them on your lap and tell them about me?"
DD 9/22/03 Our little sassypants!
DS 4/10/10 My little man is growing so fast
I had the same process as you will be having. Mine ended up in a c-section, but that was because I never dilated and my pelvis was too narrow to handle the vaginal birth, nothing to do with the Cervidil or Pitocin. There was nothing disturbing about my experience with either.
