I was thinking just a "playdate" with cupcakes--keeping it real simple. But want to have some activities on hand.....ELMO will be the theme. Any ideas? Things you did or went to that were a HIT with 2 year olds?? I want to keep it SIMPLE. His b-day is end of April and we live down south so I may have it outside and can have bubbles and sidewalk chalk etc......I'd love any ideas!
Re: 2 year old B-day party ideas??
I love the bubbles and sidewalk chalk ideas. We went to an outdoor bday party and started by making our own sun visors. They were the foam ones from Oriental Trading company and the kids were able to put stickers on the hats and then wore them all day. (that was good for the adults, too!)
At the same party, they also did story time and an older sibling read a book to the kids and then the kids got to pretend they were the animals in the book. They didn't quite "get it" but they still had fun.
Have fun!

We're doing a Sesame Street theme for DS's 2nd b-day and I found these cupcakes on flickr.com that we're having made.

I found these yesterday as well, but haven't had a chance to really look through them.
