Babies: 9 - 12 Months

F/U to taking your 7,8, 9 mo old grocery shopping...

He did great! Even though he ended up being overdue for a nap. Now maybe I don't have to go by myself at 7am on a Sat!

Although everytime we're out, people mistake him for being a girl despite the all blue attire he is dressed in. It's his big beautiful blue eyes I guess! ;-)

  • I hate going shopping w/ B. The weather is cold and snowy so I usually leave her in her infant carrier to keep her warm. This takes up the whole cart. If I only have a few things to pick up I will put her carrier into her stroller and bring one of those reusable totes for the groceries. A PITA, but works when I don't need a lot.

  • I had asked if others can get through a whole shopping trip without a meltdown as I planned to go today and hadn't taken him before. I always went alone on the weekend.

This. We have taken DS shopping since the beginning. between keys, toys and puffs he does great. but he is a happy go lucky baby anyways. And I get that all the time about being a girl too, even if he has on sports stuff.

doesn't your infant carrier hook on to the front basket of the cart? So LO is facing you?
  • DS loves the market. I've been taking him since he was a month old. I think it's the lights and all of the stuff to look at.
