I couldnt wear my engagement ring after about 27 weeks, but my wedding band was a little bigger and its a thinner band. So I am sporting that alone. My finger looks so naked and I stare at my engagement ring nightly and say soon enough you will be back on my finger
I still have mine on. I think I'll make it to the end with them! My hand's haven't gotten too bad but I do have gross, swollen, Fred Flinstone feet and I've had to give up all my cute shoes so it all evens out.
Still wearing mine actually! I'm shocked really. My fingers do swell during the day but they are down in the morning and evening enough to take my rings off.
I just gave mine up this week. It was pretty tight the past few but I wasn't ready to part w/ it. This week I decided it's not worth the struggle of getting it off.
My shoes weren't fitting about 4 weeks ago so I had to buy new ones in a bigger size. At the time I didn't notice but now I can actually feel that my feet are puffy/swollen when I touch them. Ewww!
I don't wear mine often because they generally annoy me. But we're going to talk to a life insurance guy today, so I got kinda spiffed up (I can't call it dressed up since I'm still wearing jeans and tennies - but they're my nice jeans! ) and I put my rings on. They fit just fine.
Sorry you're having to deal with swelling.
I'm having to deal with people saying - "you only have 25 days left! Are you sure you're eating enough? The baby doesn't look very big" (ie The baby looks unhealthy because you've been starving yourself, you terrible person). Thanks a lot.
Still able to wear mine. I have had a couple of instances where it got a little uncomfortable but they were only for short times. I am hoping to make it to the end!

THIS--so obnoxious! Mine still fit. However, they got reeeeeeeeally loose for a while (like fall off while washing hands loose), and now they fit normally again. Thank god--I was having nightmares of my DH's great-grandmother's diamond flushing down the sink!
My hands are still fitting my rings just fine. I cant wear my rings at night though. My ankles and feet have swollen up at times.
Your little hands wrapped around my finger and its so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eye lids flutter cause your dreamin so I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light
To you everything's funny, you've got nothing to regret
I'd give all I have hunny, if you could stay like that
Oh darling dont you ever grow up, dont you ever grow up, just stay this little
Oh darling dont you ever grow up dont you ever grow up, it could stay this simple
I wont let nobody hurt you, wont let no one break your heart, no one will desert you
Just try to never grow up
I'm 35 weeks and I still have mine one. I wore them without problems my previous pregancy (which was also during the summer in its hot up here) the entire time so I don't think I'll have issues this time.
they havent tightened at all... they usually tighten a bit since its winter and my fingers always swell in the winter but i can still take them off and put them back on without any problems!
Still wearing mine at 37 weeks. I take them off at night, because the swell a bit when I'm warm and I'm terrified I'll balloon up overnight. As for my ankles, they're usually fine. I credit that to drinking LOADS of water.
I still wear mine. They don't feel tight at all. I don't think I've had much swelling though, I only notice a little in my ankles after a long day of shopping or my 12 hour shifts at work.
I wore mine until 39 weeks when suddenly my hands decided it was time to swell. Now, I just have my wedding band on a chain around my neck and I put the engagement ring in the jewelry box until after LO is born.
My rings have been stuck for over 2 years because rapid weight gain from medicine to treat my endo. They still turn and move a little, though so I never got them cut off. So far, they've never cut off my circulation, I just have more fat right beyond the ring.
It's funny, my fingers don't look swollen to me. My ankles, on the other hand ... whole different story.
This for me too. I finally stopped wearing my engagement ring around 36 weeks - on a chain around my neck now. The wedding band is much thinner & really tight now but I am managing wearing it. I was going to buy a cheap set to wear by DH thought it wasn't necessary. He understands why I can't wear it but I feel naked without it!
I'm 35 weeks, and it depends on the day. Most of the time I can still wear them, but once in a while I will swell up pretty badly (especially if I am hot) and then I will put the rings on my pinky finger for a bit. If I have to totally take them off in the next few weeks I will probably go and purchase a cheap ring to wear instead. My finger just feels naked without something on it.

I'm still wearing mine. I think about week 37-38 with DS, I had to stop but I am no where close to needing to remove them yet. I've had about the same amount of weight gain - I am just not swelling at all this time around.
Re: 30weeks+ Still wearing rings?
E-ring was off about a week ago... and I was just wearing my wedding bands (I have 2 of them)... until a few days ago- then I was down to ONE band.
Today- none of them fit over my swollen knuckles.
I feel naked!!

I had to take my engagement ring off around 28 weeks, and I took my wedding band off this morning. They're on a chain around my neck now.
