Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician around the Northville/Novi area? I'd specifically like someone who is open to an alternative vaccination schedule.
We also go to Providence Park Pediatrics. We did a delayed scheduled (my DD got all of her vaccinations but never more than two a visit). Our doctor said as long as a child gets vaccinated, she'll work with the schedule.
I also love the entire practice, especially the nurses line.
I third Providence Park Peds! My OBGYN's office is in the same bldg, and several of the Drs recommended Park Peds prior to DS' birth b/c they take their kids there. Granted, we've only gone for well-child visits (luckily) over the course of 16 months, but we've been extremely happy. As previous posters stated, we also follow a semi-delayed scheduled and they are happy to accomodate. I don't know who the previous posters see, but we see Dr. Newcombe and never feel neither rushed nor that our concerns/questions as first-time parents aren't given full attention. Also, the nursing and front desk staff are super friendly and the hours are convenient. Good luck!
We live in Novi, but drive to Commerce Twp for Pedi Visits. They allow us to not following the CDC guidelines for vacs and I have a friend who goes that is doing the delayed. We love them and they where especially helpful when DS was first born.
