I am so glad to read that most everyone is doing well. We are too. DD is learning new words - her latest is no. When we do something she doesn't like she goes no..no..no... It's cute but a scary sign of what might be to come. She is getting her 6th tooth in. I felt like a bad mommy, I didn't even notice number 5 was cutting until it fully came in. DD still won't sleep in her bed. On Monday we are going to try hard core. After this weekend, we will be in town for a month so there will be ample time to make this a habit.
I can't believe DD is going to be 1 in two weeks. She was born just yesterday or so it seems. I held a newborn last night and I could feel my whole self just longing for another one. Perhaps it is time to TTC....
Joining this thread a little late! I am doing well. Feeling good for the most part We found out we're having a little girl last week and are super excited. That sparked a frenzy of shopping and registering with family members. We also painted the nursery and got the crib up, so I feel very accomplished now. Next step is finding the rest of the furniture!

It's so much fun reading about everyone's progress and milestones. It's amazing how time flies and I can't even believe DS is now a year old! We had a great birthday party for him with friends and family. Somehow we managed to survive having several family members stay with us for a long weekend including my divorced mom and dad. Lots of drama mainly with my mom and her big mouth but again we survived. At least DS will be able to look back and see that most of his grandparents where there to celebrate the special day.
I'm especially enjoying this new phase of his development including his mobility and new play skills. He really is starting to imitate a lot of what we do and said his first word a few weeks ago "go, go, go" which he now uses a lot. He is always on the go crawling and standing everywhere. Eating is still a struggle as he continues to gag on textured foods but he now is feeding himself finger foods like cherrios. He also has started drinking from a cup himself and we are slowly getting him off the bottle. Just this week I have fully weaned him from breastfeeding which I'm definetly noticing in my metabolism. Time to start working out again!
Sleeping is still a struggle which is probably due to his new emerging teeth. He now has 3 teeth- the most recent his top left one. Weaning him has made the nights that he does get up a bit more challenging since I no longer just sleep feed him in our bed. We are still giving frozen breastmilk since I still have another month left in my stash. We also give him whole milk which he seems to like. He really has had no problem switching between whole and breast milk. Now that he is fully weaned we have started TCC for #2! It should make for an intersted and fun year!
DD is back to two naps a day. For almost my entire first trimester she hardly napped, or maybe took one short nap/day. I felt like she was punishing me for being pregnant. LOL Now she's back to two naps, and I'm kind of sad that we don't have our mornings as free as we did before. But it's ok, as long as she is getting her rest!
She took her first few steps a couple days ago, and is slowly gaining more confidence. Though she still prefers to crawl. :-)
She LOVES to dance, and whenever we mention music or dancing, she heads over to the entertainment center and waits for us to plug in the mp3. It's so cute to watch her move to the music!
I'm almost 18 weeks pregnant, and this pregnancy is flying by!!! First tri was rough and felt like forever, but the last month or so has gone really quickly. I can't believe we'll have two under two this summer! I'm hitting up the Moms of Multiples consignment sale with a couple of friends on Saturday morning. Hopefully I can find a few things (double P&T stroller, Ergo carrier, clothes, etc).
On our way to 3 under 4!
