Babies weight the same as U/S?

Hello, I just had my last U/S at 37 weeks and the boys are 6 1/2 lbs baby A and almost 7 lbs baby B. They always tell you that the ultrasound might be a pound more or a pound less. I'm curious to see if your babies' weights were close to what U/S said...I have a 3 year old boy and when I did my last ultrasound which was the day I delivered him, he weighed the same thing as what the U/S said.

Re: Babies weight the same as U/S?

  • My 35 week u/s showed Baby A at 7 lbs 2 oz and Baby B at 7 lbs 10 oz.

At 36w2d, Baby A was born at 5 lbs 14 oz and Baby B at 6 lbs 3 oz.  They were definitely off a bit.  ;)

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • My u/s at 37w estimated them both at 5 lbs 11 oz. They were born at 37w6d and weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and 6 lbs 7 oz.

  • the entire pregnancy they thought my girl was bigger than my boy.  Two days before I delivered I had my last u/s and they said that the boy was 6.13 and she was 6.11.  He came out 6.7 and she came out 5.10.  So hers was really off and his was about 1/2 lb off.
  • last u/s 7 hours before delivery, weights were off by 2 oz and 9 oz to the lower end.
  • I had an u/s 4 days before my c-section and they were estimated at 6 lbs each.  They were born at 5 lb 13 oz and 5 lb 6 oz.
