I had a doctor tell me once that you shouldn't put anything on a facial cut that you wouldn't put directly in your eye. I don't know how true that is, but b/c kids rub their eyes so much, I think I would follow that rule on this cut b/c it is so close to his eye.
Thanks ladies. I am always shocked at some of the things you aren't supposed to give babies so I didn't want to take a chance. And given her Dad's allergy to neosporin...I may use polysporin. Thanks.
Breastmilk is the best thing you could put on it. It will take care of any bacteria in the area, and it won't matter if you get it in her eye. Of course, I don't know if you have any BM laying around sooo......
