I go now for an hour (I take bootcamp twice a week and that is about an hour and a half). Back in high school and college I used to work out for 2+ hours. Since working an hour a day is fine for me.
I have not been since LO was born. Everytime I plan to start going again something comes up. When I did go, it was for 45min to an hour and I plan to go for the same length of time. Maybe tonight!
I don't go to the gym, but I ran post-pardum, and because of time constraints I'd do a long (5-7 mile) run twice a week instead of shorter runs 4 times a week like I did before I got pregnant. Now I get out for a jog a couple times a week for a 1/2 hour between work while LO is at daycare (I work from home). Gotta love being able to work sweaty and no one can see what you look like!
I go for an hour 4-6 days a week. If DS is having a bad day, then I just run with him in the stroller.
It has changed. I was much more focused during my workouts and I pushed myself much harder before DS was born. Now I'm always thinking about how DS is doing in daycare. I'm also afraid to get too sore since DS is a chunk and I need to be able to carry him around!
I workout at home, but my workouts have definitely shortened. I used to do 45-60 minutes of cardio and then 30-45 minutes of weight training. Now I do 45 minutes of cardio and split up my weights across 2-3 days. Not ideal, but at least I'm doing it. Now if I could only lose the last 13 lbs of pregnancy weight, my time would be worth it!
I generally work out for about 1/2 an hour at the gym each morning (this is all I can fit in before having to go to work). Then I do an at home workout each evening for an hour.
Re: Gym go'ers question for ya.
