Moms of girls - where do you get tights?

I was at our local children's consignment store and got some super cute winter dresses for DD. But now I need to get her something to wear under them. I hated the one white pair I bought for her before from Old Navy. It was like thick panyhose. Where do you get nice and thick, not too tight tights for babies?

Old Navy or babyGap usually, the tights I get at ON are really thick and not pantyhose-like at all.

we don't wear tights...we make our own baby legs for Maggie to wear w/ her dresses...much easier when it comes to diaper changes and I'm sure they are way more comfy for her.
