I'm trying to get back into the swing of things on TTGP/GP (posting where I can be helpful etc.), and see a tonne of beautiful new faces!

So, to get to know you, I thought I'd post a poll!!

1) What phase of your TTC journey are you in (ie: pg, just started trying, re apts etc.)?

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO?

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?)

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work?

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it!

2) His sense of humour - by far my favourite thing. Oh...and his bum! lol

3) By day, I'm a manager at a small financial company that is owned by 4 partners of a law firm...By night, I design cakes for a wonderful bakery and am an abstract artist

4) Hoping to SAHM, but we'll see. DH doesn't have a job right now, and his severance runs out shortly, so ... we'll see! I'd love to work from home - that'd be ideal.

5) As the president of SPA *giggles* I did LOTS of things to spruce up our sexlife while TTC! I really need to think of some creative ways to spruce things up now, and am definitely going to look at your ladies answers for some inspiration! Wink

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I am the Marketing Assistant for a food production company, I am in the lull between tailgate seasons and LOVING IT!

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? hoping to stay at home but probably not

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it! no need yet...

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? His personality.

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I'm a peds RN. And we have a love/hate relationship.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? Unfortunately, I have to return to work. I'm the breadwinner.

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it! Nothing to spruce it up really. I just have to initate it and have sex more during O time.

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? He cleans without being asked! (I love a million other things too, but he did a lot of cleaning this weekend, so this jumped out at me.)

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I teach middle school English. Most days, I love it.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? In an ideal world, I would stay home until LO's are in school, but in reality, I will be returning to work.

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and a lot of ladies loved it! I can't say we are doing anything extra special/out of the ordinary right now... open to ideas lol!

1. I have two weeks of bcps left and then we start our ttc journey.

2. I love everything about my DH, he is my world.

3. I'm in school right now, taking office administration.

4. If/when we get pregnant I will stay home until our kids are in school.

5. We haven't started ttc yet, but I don't expect there to be much of a difference in our sex life after we start. We usually have sex every day or two anyways and we're not bored yet, lol, so I don't think ttc will make that much of a difference.

Honestly, you are almost in the 3rd tri and it is really weird that you are suddenly coming back here now. If you truly wanted to be helpful you'd just do it, not create a "roll call" so to speak which is totally out of line considering you are pg and more or less MIA here for the past 4-5 months.

1) What phase of your TTC journey are you in (ie: pg, just started trying, re apts etc.)? Starting to TTC in May, currently in my last month of BCPs.

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? Wow one thing, that's tough but I would say his personality-specifically that he is just this amazingly nice guy that everyone loves who brings out the best in everyone.

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I recently quit a job in event planning that I hated, and am back to doing what I love and went to school for, which is writing and consulting with other writers on their screenplays, some freelance editing, and blogging.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? Definitely SAH.

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it! DH and I pretty good, every single day or more often is not unusual for us. He's been traveling a lot recently (currently in El Salvador), so not seeing each other for weeks at a time, and knowing he's leaving after being home only a day or two definitely helps spice things up.

Hey Shan! Your bump is super cute!

1) We were TTC and got a BFP on Cycle 4 but it ended in a m/c during the 8th week. Now we're not preventing but not TTA either. We decided to take a more active TTC approach in a few months.

2) He is my soul mate. My BFF gave us the best compliment a few weeks ago. She said that she couldn't have picked a better man for me if she had handpicked him herself.

3) I'm a legal assistant for a defense med mal firm.

4) As much as I'd love to be a SAHM, I would return to work. We depend on my salary to maintain our lifestyle.

5) The best thing to spruce it up would be to get our DS to start sleeping in his own bed again! LOL!

1) What phase of your TTC journey are you in (ie: pg, just started trying, re apts etc.)? First cycle charting. I've already been diagnosed with PCOS, so I want to see if I ovulate before we start TTC, which should be late spring/early summer

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? That he can make me laugh

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) Love-hate relationship here! I'm in sales - I would like something with a bit more job security, but love the $$ potential!

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I'm the breadwinner, so I will have to work, unless we win the lotto haha

He is just plain silly. He makes up songs for me all the time and knows how to make me laugh.3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I work in the technology building of a state university, duplicating and selling software to students and fac/staff members. I like it, but I don't love it. I live in a cubicle 99% of the time, and miss being in a more customer-facing role.4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I wish I could SAH, but we can't afford for me not to go back to work after maternity leave. This is especially frustrating since I plan to EBF if all goes well. Guess I will be pumping at work!5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it! 3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I'm a registered massage therapist. I love my job.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I will hopefully be able to take about 4-6 months off work, then return to work 1/2-3/4 time for the rest of the first year.

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? Right now we're not doing anything different aside from me having to initiate more.

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? His sense of fun..he always does things to make me laugh and doesn't mind being a complete fool!

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I work in Marketing for a big insurance company. It's great!

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? Right now I don't think we can swing me being a SAHM, but if we were blessed with more than one kiddo, then I'd REALLY love to.

3) What do you do for a living? I'm a student

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? SAHM, it's what I've wanted to be for as long as I can remember, and even though I'm in school now, if we got PG and were due before May of 2011 (when I'm supposed to graduate), I think I'd drop out and plan to go back later after all the kids are in school(hopefully 4 LOs)

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! I've started not to tell him when I'm O-ing, so it's just me being frisky which he loves. Also, I've become more of a fan of afternoon shower sex.

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? He is a great father and it melts my heart to see how great he is with our DD.

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I work in cable television. It's OK. If I could go back and pick a different profession I probably would but at this point it is too late. I make too much money to start over.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I will be returning to work just like I did after DD was born.

1) We are in our 4th cycle TTC for #2. If #1 hadn't been so easy, I don't think I'd be as worried as I am right now!

2) I love my DH because he does ALL the laundry OK, I really love his sense of humor and because he puts up with my mood swings!

3) I test software... boring! But I have good hours, I like my coworkers and I have great benefits. What more can you ask for?

4) I will be returning to work, but hopefully part time (3 or 4 days a week). I actually like getting out of the house to be with grown-ups and drink my coffee in peace! Also, DD looooooves her daycare so I know she is having a blast while I am at work. I couldn't do it if she wasn't so happy there.

5) We are going to have to try to spice things up... last month it got to be more like a business transaction towards the end!

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? He is my support system and best friend for too many reasons to list.

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I am an executive assistant and event planner. The assistant part is blah but I love event planning. DH wants me to open my own business but I just don't this is the best economy for that venture.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? Right now I only work 32 hours/wk and I plan on going back to that.

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it! Not really. Some cute outfits sometimes.

1) What phase of your TTC journey are you in (ie: pg, just started trying, re apts etc.)? Went off the pill in Dec 09, got preg right away, miscarried 2/8/10 with a D&C. Now just waiting for my first period so we can try again.

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? I love that he supports me in everything I do and that he puts up with all my crap

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) Right now I substitute teach, work in a construction office, and work in a high school two days a week. I love all of them, but would really love to just have one full time job again.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I would love to have a part time job and work from home the rest of the week.

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! I went to a sex toy party a couple weeks ago and bought some things, but can't use them yet because of the bleeding from the D&C. Bummer!

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? Hard to pick just 1, but I love how affectionate and thoughtful he is (usually).

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I work for an Interior Design Firm. I supervise the Admin staff, and do Contract Admin. I like what my job USED to be before I had to lay-off most of my staff. :-(

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I am going to be a SAHM for a while. Eventually I would like to go back to work, but we are going to take one step at a time.

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? He is my soul mate. My everything. There isn't just one thing I love more then anything else about him.

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) SAHM. I LOVE IT.

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I am going to be a SAHM until my kids are in middle school then I hope to do something photography related (maybe) or go back to teaching.

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it! No...having an 8 month old makes finding time to just have sex exciting.

1) What phase of your TTC journey are you in (ie: pg, just started trying, re apts etc.)? Been TTC since July 09. Had a m/c in September (which I think was the longest miscarriage ever since it didn't end until Thanksgiving! and only two cycles since. )

2) What is the #1 thing you love about your DH/SO? I love that he has his feet on the ground since my head is in the clouds. And I love that he can make me laugh regardless of the situation!

3) What do you do for a living? (and do you love it or hate it?) I work in the arts and I love it!

4) Once pg, are you hoping to SAHM or return to work? I'm hoping for a best of both worlds scenario. I love love love what I do and can't imagine not doing it, but I also feel really strongly that I want to be the person raising my child early on. If I could have kids close in age and work from home for a time and then come back, I think that'd be ideal!

5) Are you doing anything to spruce up the sex life? TTC can be really hard on the sexual relationship, and sometimes becomes a chore! We had SPA (Sex Pots Anonymous) around here last summer, and alot of ladies loved it! Not really. That sounds like a good idea though!!

Yes - it would be similar to that. I still know a few people here, and while I'm taking care of the TTGP Blog for Mysh, I thought it'd be nice to get to know the ladies who are here.

Just wondering-isn't that blog for ttgp mamas? So, the majority of the women participating in the blog are no longer on this board?
