So I've only really been showing for about a week now (currently almost 20 weeks) and I just recently went through all my clothes and packed away whatever is no longer an option. One thing I'm noticing, and it may just be because I'm only recently showing, is that I'm not sure how comfortable I am showing in more form-fitting clothing. I know the days of hiding pregnancy are over but I just can't decide if I like my stomach being all out there. I do generally think the more fitted stuff looks so cute on others. I was thin pre-pregnancy so it wasn't an issue before, only now. Obviously it's a personal thing, different for everyone, but I am wondering if it is just because I'm not used to it yet and may become more comfortable with time. Did anyone else go through this and change their mind (or not)?
Re: Question about your bump "showing"
I dislike the flowy stuff. I have hips to begin with, so even though I haven't gained anything yet, flowy stuff makes me look like I'm fat, even though my belly is pretty obviously a pregnant belly. I'm far more comfortable (body image wise) in the more form fitting stuff. I keep the flowy stuff for when I'm at home.

Like pp once my bump got more defined and didn't look like a beer belly, I like showing it off. I actually don't like the flowy or non-fitted shirts...they make me feel fat.
I like rouched tops, and have gotten alot of "when is your baby due?" comments from strangers, so I LOVE THAT.
And with my new maternity jeans, I feel pretty cute. Good jeans totally make you feel better about being pregnant... lol

This. Flowy shirts make me feel frumpy!
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
It depends on the shirt. If I can do flowy and not look like I am just big, then I would rather do flowy.
Formfitting only if I look pregnant and not chubby.
I really was excited about when I would start to show and now that I am showing, I hvae mixed feelings. Hoping once it is a litle more obvious pregnant belly and not beer belly that I will love showing it off more!
Thankfully most of my group of friends are also pregnant, and I am behind all of them so they make me feel small
