  • It's B6. I am planning to pick up a bottle tomorrow. I've heard no more than 75mg a day. So check to see how much your prenatal already has. The Vitamin Shoppe sells 25mg bottles. 2x a day and the PN, and you are good with the daily dosage.

  • Not a vitamin, but one thing that helped me was Santa Cruz Organics ginger ale. It has a ton of real ginger in it and between that and the carbonation it usually helped chase the queasies off.
  • I took B6 starting before I got pregnant at the direction of my acupuncturist. Later my Ob told me that it is supposed to help with m/s. I never felt nauseous but I don't know if it had to do with that at all.

  • I have to take really high doses of B6+B12 along with a folic acid for a compound I have to take - and I thought that's why I've never had m/s. Until this one. Ick. Staying full is ultimately what helped me most. As cliche as it sounds, saltines were really helpful. Thankfully mine was only tough for a couple weeks.

    I've drinking a ton of ginger ale, but this sounds like it might be better.  Where did you get it from?

    I would guess Whole Foods.  They also sell one there called GUS, Grown Up Soda, that I drank a ton of.  It's not very sweet, which was key for me since I couldn't stand anything sweet at that time.

  • I'd definitely try whole foods for the soda. But I'm not 100% sure- I used to get it at my work cafeteria!

  • I was taking a b-complex (from the KP pharmacy) before I got pg and still got sick on the rec of my OB I added a nightly Unisom to the mix and it worked really well.  Its the 25 mg dose (not the gel cap).  I slept well and didn't feel gross -- huge win in my book.
